We are searching for a talented Mammography Technologist.
- $10,000 new hire sign‑on bonus (rehires eligible if more than 1 year)
- Hours: 32 flex 40 hrs
- Shift: Day/Evening shift, various shifts 7:00 am – 7:00 pm with weekend and evening rotation
- Location: Breast Center – Dartmouth, MA; applicant must be willing to travel between Breast Center locations

ResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within mammography and radiography as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients’ chart and document all data within the EHR.
Educate patients for exam. Position patients and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and be aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, and attainment of primary certification within one year of eligibility and post‑primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography RT(M).
- Post‑primary certification in the advanced practice discipline of Mammography is required for RTs within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA or RI.
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required based on location assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
- Willing to train in Mammography.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt by signing a statement certifying exemption upon hire.
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay RangeUSD $38.89 – $60.60 /hr.
