What You Will Be DoingAs a Mechanical Engineering Intern in our Engineering and Technology center, you will gain hands‑on experience working on projects that enhance manufacturing processes, drive innovation, and support the success of our operations.
You will help update manufacturing process documentation and procedures, collaborate on the development of an inventory management system to improve workflow efficiency, analyze machined components for potential conversion to 3D‑printed parts, and support small‑scale design and fabrication projects alongside engineering and management teams.
This role is ideal for a motivated engineering student eager to apply classroom knowledge in a real‑world manufacturing environment, with familiarity in Solid Works, mechanical design, CAM, or exposure to machine shop, welding, or drafting coursework considered a strong advantage.
Duration of Role: June
- August 2026
Location: Onsite in North Dartmouth, MA
Compensation: $22-$26/hr
Qualifications- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Familiarity with Solid Works, mechanical design, or CAM software is a plus
- Exposure to machine shop, welding, or drafting classes is a plus
- Experience operating a 3D printer strongly preferred
- Strong interest in golf is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a machine shop/ manufacturing environment
