Job Title: General Labour (Lumper)
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Shift: Casual, 8:00 AM Start
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Job Overview:
Advantage Personnel is seeking reliable and physically capable General Labourers (Lumpers) to support warehouse operations in Dartmouth, NS. This hands-on role involves unloading containers, organizing products, and assisting with general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, dependable, and thrives in an active, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Safely unload containers by hand or with pallet jacks.
- Palletize, wrap, and organize items for storage or shipment.
- Perform light clean-up of the warehouse to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
- Steel-toe safety boots are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive, manual labour tasks.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
