Parts & Tow Driver

LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dartmouth, Servicing Dartmouth Area, NS

HOURS: Full-time, permanent. Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm. (Some flexibility may be required)

COMPENSATION: $19.00 - $23.00/ hour (To be negotiated based on skill level/experience)

THE PERFECT FIT:
Centennial Carstar Dartmouth is seeking a dependable Parts & Tow Driver to support smooth daily operations across our repair locations. In this dual-role position, you’ll be responsible for delivering parts between our three Dartmouth shops (Dartmouth, Dartmouth Crossing, and Higney) as well as transporting customer vehicles using a tow trailer when required. If you enjoy driving, staying organized, and playing a key role in shop efficiency, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

SKILLS/

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Experience towing or hauling with a trailer is a strong asset
  • At least 4+ years of driving and towing experience
  • Previous delivery or automotive experience is an asset (not required)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
  • Strong attention to safety and detail while loading, securing, and transporting vehicles
JOB TASKS/

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pick up and deliver automotive parts between our Dartmouth-area locations
  • Tow customer vehicles to and from shops using company towing equipment
  • Ensure vehicles are properly secured and transported safely
  • Occasionally source materials or shuttle employees as needed
  • Transport equipment for repairs
  • Load and unload the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are safely secured
  • Communicate effectively with body shop staff, providing excellent customer service
  • Assist with basic inventory management and stocking as needed
  • Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures at all times
