Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops solutions and solves more complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and on-budget directly impacting positive project outcomes for a variety of circumstances.

  • Writes reports and presents work carried out at peer and design reviews.

  • Develops processes for team and influences decisions by providing technical advice to team(s).

  • Remains current on trends and emerging technologies and tools.

  • May provide train, coach and advise more junior team members.

  • May estimate engineering packages of work to identify dependencies and ensure the deliverability of assigned work packages.

Technical

Skills:

  • Analog and digital design experience

  • Digital Signal Processing applications experience

  • Printed Circuit Board layout and proficiency with ECAD tools

  • Field Programmable Gate Array design

  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as DOORS, UML, ERP, ECAD and Configuration Management systems

  • Proficient in standard Office tools

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  • Strong knowledge of Electrical/Electronics design principles, ideally in complex or regulated sectors

  • Eligible for Canadian government security clearance

Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 4+ years of experience within a relevant complex engineering environment. May be required to maintain security clearance
