Service Engineer

Overview

Tricel Portsmouth/Dartford is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our professional field service team, supporting customers across the Dartford area and surrounding locations.

This is a hands-on role focused on the service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of pumping and pressurisation equipment, delivering a high standard of service and representing the company professionally on customer sites.

• Service, maintain and commission pumping equipment including booster sets, pressurisation units and associated systems
• Diagnose faults and attend breakdown situations, restoring facilities where possible
• Carry out on-site overhauls and repairs to pumping equipment
• Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota alongside existing engineers
• Produce accurate and detailed job reports and timesheets within required timescales
• Support departmental activities as required by management

• Experience of pumps
  
  Grundfos, Lowara, knowledge of other manufacturers booster sets, circulating pumps, pressurisation, and degassing equipment
• Good knowledge of pump applications to include all aspects of building services
• Good Understanding and Knowledge of Controls systems
• Good level knowledge in respect of the latest technology available in the pump industry
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the needs of the reader.
• Good telephone manner.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels (dealing with a range of clients from engineers to Directors
• IT literate (training provided for our service software application)
• CSCS Card
• Full Clean Driving License
