The Seasonal Golf Pro Shop Assistant supports daily golf operations during the busy season by delivering friendly, efficient service to members and guests. This role ensures the pro shop runs smoothly by handling sales, tee time bookings, merchandise, and would suit anyone seeking flexible seasonal work in a fun, customer-focused environment.

• Welcome golfers and visitors with a positive, professional attitude
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about tee times, lessons, and events
• Check in golfers and collect fees for rounds, carts, and rentals
• Provide basic course information, policies, and event details
• Resolve basic customer issues and escalations when necessary

• Operate the point-of-sale system for merchandise and green fee transactions
• Assist with restocking, tagging, and organizing pro shop merchandise
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and visually appealing

• Manage tee sheets and communicate with starters and wardens
• Assist with daily play flow and pace-of-play communication

• Maintain cleanliness of the pro shop and surrounding areas
• Follow all safety procedures and club policies

• Indoor retail setting with occasional outdoor interaction
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays will be required
• Fast-paced, customer-facing role

• Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanour
• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer and POS system skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in golf is a plus (training provided)

• Seasonal position March to October
