Small Tools Fitter - Plant and Workshop Division

FM Conway seeks an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop Division. In this role, you will maintain our fleet of small plant equipment, carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across mixed tools, and ensure all plant items are inspected and ready for rehire to provide high‑quality equipment to our customers. This is a full‑time, permanent position based in Dartford, Kent.

• Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities.
• Carrying out inspections on plant items, ensuring they are ready for rehire and that quality items are provided at all times for our customers.
• Working safely and compliantly with risk assessments and method statements, challenging any unsafe practices.

To be considered for the Small Tools Fitter role you will have previous experience in a similar position. You will have a strong understanding of the responsibilities associated with working in a workshop environment, consistently adhering to and promoting safe systems of work. A full UK driving licence and your own tools are essential. In addition, you will be IT literate and have excellent knowledge of various items of plant and small tools.
