Plant Fitter

A plant fitter at FM Conway will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy plant machines. The role is full‑time, permanent, based in Dartford, Kent.

• Maintaining our large fleet of heavy plant.
• Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities.
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on our wide range of plant.
• Working safely and compliantly using risk assessments and method statements.
• Challenging any unsafe practices.
• Problem‑solving, identifying parts required and rectifying faults.

To be considered you must have knowledge of heavy plant including electrical and hydraulic systems, a good understanding of workshop responsibilities, IT literacy and a full UK driving licence.
