Multiskilled Engineer; Electrical Bias

Overview

Electrically biased trades person based on site undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, and building fabric. Based at LCY3 but may be asked to assist other nearby sites as required.

Location: Amazon LCY3, Dartford

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday

Salary: £38,000 - £44,000

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Manager, including fault finding, testing, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment, and other electrical duties in support of the team
• Carry out other non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks
• Close / update completed PPM tasks on the site computerised maintenance system
• Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and systems
• Adhere to company QA and site procedures
• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Maintain accurate site records/documentation for all site works
• Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call-outs/repairs as required
• Work within typical plant room environments and at height from platforms and ladders
• Maintain all company-issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
• Contribute to the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach
• Complete any other task requested by management, including security-related tasks as required

• City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE
• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training
• Demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering
• Customer service

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented, able to contribute to group success while following instructions

IPAF, PASMA;
Knowledge and use of computer software such as Microsoft Office and Building Management Systems; HVAC and Building Services Engineering experience
