We are seeking an experienced Software Lead Architect for a 6‑month contract to lead and shape our technology roadmap. As a pivotal member of our Architecture team, you will be responsible for architecting robust, scalable, and innovative lighting control solutions working seamlessly with other systems in smart buildings.
What You'll Be Doing For Us- Architect for End‑to‑End IoT Solutions:
Design and oversee the development of secure, scalable, and maintainable SW architectures, including device connectivity, edge computing, and data management. - Security and Compliance:
Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. - Enhance software architecture design expertise and implement industry best practices within Helvar.
- Create and oversee architecture documentation and decision records.
- Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with other architects, product managers and product owners.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a software architect.
- Knowledge of latest SW technologies, industry standards, and security protocols; evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and platforms to enhance solution effectiveness.
- Expertise in IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, AMQP), device management, and edge computing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles relevant to IoT ecosystems.
- Experience with data analytics, machine learning integration, and real‑time data processing.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with industrial IoT applications or smart devices.
- Familiarity with firmware development.
- Hands‑on experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
