Wilmington Manor provides a peaceful place for residents to receive residential and nursing care in a safe and homely environment. Residents may also participate in gardening activities; the home is converted and extended from a manor house. There are two lounges and a dining room; residents may dine in their room if preferred. Seasonal menus are created by the home’s chef to meet individual needs and tastes.

There’s a strong sense of community. Staff work to discover residents’ interests and the social calendar is organized around them. Dedicated activity coordinators help residents pursue hobbies and interests, with activities including bingo, quizzes, flower arranging and music sessions, plus regular trips out, shopping trips and themed monthly events.

• Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
• Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
• Providing advice and support both face to face and over the phone
• Conducting show-arounds within the care home
• Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties such as maintaining paper work and filing
• Dealing with enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed

You’ve worked as a Receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service. You’ll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable and organised and have the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families and internal teams. You’re dedicated and efficient with the ability to handle a varied workload, and your caring attitude underpins everything you do — to make a real difference to people’s lives.
