Due to ongoing growth and increasing operational complexity, the company is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to strengthen its central Finance function. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful group financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust compliance across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality technical reporting across the Group Finance function.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of group entities, including intercompany eliminations, goodwill accounting, consolidated cashflows, and treatment of acquisitions/disposals.
- Produce all consolidated statutory and management reporting.
- Maintain and develop group-level metrics to support business objectives.
- Manage the group chart of accounts, mapping rules and consolidation journals.
- Ensure full FRS 102 disclosure compliance across consolidated financial statements.
- Act as lead on the group system consolidation project.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement of management accounting formats and KPIs across the group.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Management Accountants within the Finance team.
- Support and coordinate the annual budgeting process.
- Maintain the Financial Procedures Manual and links to QMS requirements.
- Provide data for quarterly banking reports and maintain performance-monitoring KPIs.
Profile:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in management and statutory reporting.
- Proven expertise in group consolidations and group accounts.
- Confident user of modern accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly articulate complex financial matters.
- Able to understand and interpret complex systems and work closely with IT where required.
- Strong decision-making skills, especially in pressurised situations.
- Highly organised, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality outputs.
- Proactive, driven, enthusiastic and committed to continuous improvement.
- Flexible and adaptable approach; willingness to work beyond standard hours when required.
