We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider, delivering maintenance services at a high-profile, large-scale site in Dartford, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance.
Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and emergency callouts, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations.
Maintain and repair mechanical systems including HVAC plant, pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and associated equipment.
Fault-find on systems such as AHUs, FCUs, VAV/VRV systems, CHPs, boilers, pressurisation units, and water treatment systems.
Support operation of BMS controls (Head End experience desirable).
Conduct mechanical works on hot and cold water systems, drainage, and general building services plant.
Complete minor fabric maintenance when required (e.g., basic plumbing repairs).
Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures.
Requirements:
City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing & Heating, or a related trade.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within building services or facilities maintenance.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and commercial plant rooms.
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong team ethic.
