Cloud Engineer

Hybrid working: 1-3 days in the office per week.

Location: Near Swanley

JNC are working with a leading professional services client near Swanley that are looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join a newly created team on a permanent basis.

Only candidates with strong Azure skills as well as hands on experience working with Kubernetes and containerisation can be considered.

• Design and implement Azure Cloud architecture using PaaS, SQL and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Work closely with other teams on the integration and delivery of cloud solutions.
• Help maintain and implement new cloud security controls.
• Work closely with Infrastructure and Dev Ops teams on cloud security best practice and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Optimise AKS environments. Make sure cluster configuration and container lifecycle management is in line with best practise.
• Use your experience of cloud networking and security to secure environments.
• Manage IAM and key management systems across Azure.

• Must have extensive experience in Azure cloud engineering and support.
• Hands on skills with Azure and IaC tooling like Terraform.
• Hands on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including cluster configuration, container lifecycle management, and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and observability tools.
• Azure certifications would be a bonus but not essential with relevant experience.
• Experience with Docker is a bonus.
• Experience with Hashi Corp ecosystem is a bonus.
