Water Treatment Engineer

Join our team at Primech Building Services as a Water Treatment Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of water systems in various settings. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting assessments, implementing treatment processes, and providing valuable recommendations to our clients.

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments following ACoP L8, HSG
  274, and relevant British Standards.
• Generate comprehensive reports for clients outlining findings and suggestions for improvements.
• Monitor and evaluate water systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
• Carry out routine sampling, monitoring, and testing of water systems.
• Manage disinfection procedures, including chlorination and cleaning of water storage facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about compliance and performance.

• Legionella Risk Assessment qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in water treatment and hygiene practices.
• Experience with risk assessments, routine monitoring, and remedial work.
• Full UK driving license.
• Strong understanding of water treatment regulations, including ACOP L8, HSG
  274, and relevant British Standards.
• Ability to work in diverse environments including healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities.
