Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services / MEP

Hybrid, North Kent

£28k - £40k dependent on experience

This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres.

Responsibilities

* Responsibilities will include involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion.

* Working alongside senior engineers developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client’s brief.

* Carrying out the detailed electrical services design and calculations using Heva Comp, Amtech, IES, Dialux and/or similar design software tools.

* Production/writing of electrical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers.

* Dependent on your experience level you will represent the business alone or attend with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site.

Experience & Qualifications

* Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering, preferred although not essential

* Design experience in Electrical building design systems.

* Confident user of a range of software such as Amtech, Dialux or Relux.

* An enthusiasm for continued learning and development would be beneficial
