For the successful Field Service Engineer, our client is offering:

• Salary £41,792 per annum (Depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM
• Regular Overtime / payable Monday to Saturday X1.5 and Sunday X2.
• 45 hours per week

The Role – Field Service Engineer:

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer in Kent/South London to be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing third-party equipment. In this role, you will be providing a good level of customer service through product knowledge and customer interaction.

• Complete all service, repair, warranty, and inspection jobs allocated daily to a high-quality standard.
• Build strong rapport and relationships with customers through professional behaviour and a customer-focused mindset
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation’s products and service
• Comply with all Legal and company standards, such as the code of conduct and H&S practices.

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer:

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications/time served (ESSENTIAL)
• Experienced multi-skilled engineering experience with heavy plant equipment and working with Hydraulic Systems (ESSENTIAL)
• Able to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams
• Must be happy to work from heights
• Fault find and diagnostics of CANBUS Systems, as well as electrical fault finding
• Good IT literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills.
