About The Company

Our client is a well-established housing infrastructure and civils contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across Kent and the South East. With a portfolio spanning residential developments, groundworks, and large-scale civil engineering schemes, they are seeking a driven Contracts / Construction Manager to join their leadership team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As Contracts / Construction Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring programmes are met, budgets controlled, and quality standards upheld. You will act as the key liaison between clients, site teams, and senior management, driving performance and maintaining compliance across all operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee contracts and construction delivery across housing infrastructure and civils projects.
  • Lead site teams, ensuring health & safety, quality, and programme targets are achieved.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and contractual obligations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the business with professionalism.
  • Provide strategic input into project planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Construction Manager within housing infrastructure, groundworks, or civils.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets/contracts effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate site teams.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of UK construction regulations and best practice.
Package

Salary up to £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
