As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Operations Officer to support our cross-functional administrative and logistics activities.

Role Description

The Operations Officer is a cross-functional role bridging Administration and Logistics. This position supports the day-to-day operational activities of the business, including order processing, supplier coordination, inventory control, documentation management, and customer and supplier communication.

This is a full time onsite role based in Dartford.

Key Responsibilities Daily Operations
  • Receive, process, and manage customer purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage supplier quotations and verify supplier invoices against approved quotations.
  • Maintain and update client account information and records, including certificates, business names, contact details, and other relevant documentation.
  • Control and monitor stock inventories, including raw materials and finished products (in/out and in transit).
  • Review daily paperwork at the close of business to identify and confirm any mass production activities.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers via email and telephone, providing customer support and coordinating supplier bookings.
  • Assist the online team with packing orders when required.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including products, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.
Month-End Responsibilities
  • Perform stock reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct due diligence paperwork checks to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Reconcile finished product records against production and inventory data.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data and record management.
  • Ability to work across administrative and logistics functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise professionally with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in office systems and basic inventory/order management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
