Payroll Specialist (German Speaking)

Remote (Quarterly travel within the UK may be required)

Contract:

5 Months (Potential for extension or permanent role)
Rate: up to £30.00 per hour DOE

We’re seeking a professional Payroll Specialist fluent in German and English to support payroll operations for our German sites. This is a fully remote role, with occasional travel required.

You’ll be the primary contact for payroll-related queries, so hands-on experience with German payroll and current legislative knowledge are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process payroll for German sites in compliance with local laws and internal controls.

* Handle queries related to tax, social security, illness, insurance, and audits.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain documentation workflows.

* Participate in virtual meetings with German stakeholders to resolve payroll issues.

Requirements:

* Professional fluency in German and English.

* Strong experience in German payroll processing.

* In-depth knowledge of German payroll legislation.

* Proficiency in SAP Payroll and Microsoft Excel.
