Home Care Aide

Overview

As a Caregiver here at Destiny, you will assist a (FEMALE) resident with a variety of daily living activities in the comfort of their own home, including general housekeeping and laundry, nutritious meal planning and preparation, and personal care. You will also provide companionship, which may involve reading a book together, doing crafts, listening to music together, or engaging in a simple conversation.

No experience is necessary, but ideal candidates must have a heart for serving others and a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents.

• Assist with daily living activities in the resident's home.
• Provide companionship through conversation, activities, and shared interests.
• Support general housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the resident.
• Offer personal care assistance as required and appropriate.

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must pass background check.
• A reliable mode of transportation – own a vehicle with insurance or reliable transportation to get to work.
