Cass School District 63 is seeking a full-time STEAM teacher at Cass Junior High School for the 2026-27 school year. This is a great opportunity in a small, high performing school district to ignite in our students a passion for STEAM. This an engaging, hands-on learning environment, with current course offerings in Advanced Art, Digital Media, Industrial Design, Animation and Interactivity, and Virtual Worlds.
Qualifications
In addition to being a child-centered teacher who works well as part of a dynamic staff, the successful candidate should possess a current Professional Educator's License inclusive of grades 5 through
8. Applicants with art, science, math, science, or other teaching qualifications who want to engage students with a strong passion for promoting learning, creativity, and collaboration through STEAM are welcome to apply.
Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary and benefit package will be offered to the successful candidate, per the teacher collective bargaining agreement. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
