A well‑established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions, strengthen financial processes, and support ongoing operational improvements. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems. Candidates with experience participating in or leading ERP transitions—particularly from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics—are highly desirable.

• The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations within a manufacturing‑driven environment.
• Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and production margin reviews.
• Manage all aspects of inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy, controls, and timely reporting. The Accounting Manger will have one direct report down the line.
• Drive the monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement support.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, sales, and leadership teams to ensure accurate financial data and strong operational alignment.
• Serve as a key contributor in the transition from AS400 to Microsoft Dynamics, including process mapping, testing, data validation, and system optimization.
• Evaluate and improve accounting policies, procedures, and reporting tools.
• As Accounting Manager, you will provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members.

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, strongly preferred within manufacturing.
• Expertise in cost accounting and inventory management.
• ERP implementation experience; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and operational accounting best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work fully onsite in a fast‑paced environment.
