Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

40 hours per week (25 hours client-facing/supervision; 15 hours administrative/documentation)
Compensation: Starting at $85,000 per annum, DOE

Sasco River Center is a mission-driven, multidisciplinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and families across developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs. We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver high-quality ABA services, including conducting assessments, developing and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans, and supervising and mentoring clinical staff. The BCBA will work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure ethical practice, treatment fidelity, and meaningful, measurable outcomes that support each client’s growth and independence.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Develop and provide training to parents, caregivers, and other team members on positive behavior support plans.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, educators, and other providers to coordinate care and monitor progress.
- Provide direct therapy and supervision to RBTs, ensuring fidelity of intervention implementation (target of 25 client facing/supervision hours per week), and deliver parent coaching to support skill generalization and consistency across home and community settings.
- Coordinate with the Sasco River Center’s multidisciplinary team, including OTs and SLPs, to ensure collaboration and effective implementation of treatment across disciplines.
- Dedicate 15 hours per week to administrative duties, including data analysis, treatment planning, documentation, program development, team communication, and participating in group and individual supervision.
- Participate in comprehensive intake assessments alongside the Clinical Director, including parent interviews, direct observation, and assessment-based evaluation methods.
- Participate in supervision activities across both individual and group sessions, providing guidance, feedback, and support to RBTs and other clinical staff to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with evidence-based ABA practices and participate in professional development.
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as required.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst Education & Experience Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
- Licine in Connecticut as a Licensed Behavior Analyst required.
- BCBAs who have completed the BACB-approved 40-hour supervision training and are eligible to provide supervision are strongly preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing ABA programs for children and adolescents with developmental or behavioral challenges.
- Experience conducting skill-based assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS.
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Ecological Assessments.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based ABA interventions and Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs), including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), and skill acquisition programs.
- Skilled in parent and caregiver training across settings (home, community, clinic).
- Experience providing treatment in home, clinic, and outpatient settings is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel to clients’ homes, schools, and community settings for treatment and parent coaching.
