VACANCY:
ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM TEACHER - LEAVE REPLACEMENT - GRADE 4
TERM: ASAP to end of current school year
COMPENSATION: Per Teachers' Contract - Salary based on degree and years of service
REQUIREMENT: Must hold or be eligible for one of these Connecticut teaching certificates.
- 305 Elementary, K–6 008 Pre-K and Kindergarten
- 013 Elementary, K–6 001 Pre-K–Grade 8
- 004 Grades 1–8 002 Pre-K–Grade 6
- 005 Elementary Education, 1-6 (as of 7/1/2003 includes K)
Certification requirements in Connecticut are different from those in New York. Candidates with New York Certification will need to apply for certification in Connecticut. It is possible that certification in Connecticut will be issued contingent upon the completion of additional testing or coursework. The Darien Public Schools will assist applicants with the certification process in Connecticut.
