Our client is a boutique, high‑end construction company experiencing significant growth and expansion. Known for delivering exceptional projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors, the company is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team.

The Project Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders.

• Manage all financial activities related to assigned construction projects
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Track and analyze job costs to ensure alignment with budgets
• Review and process subcontractor invoices, change orders, and progress billings
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies
• Prepare monthly project financial statements and variance analysis
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve financial discrepancies
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
• Maintain accurate records of project transactions in the accounting system

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project‑based environments
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting and construction contracts
• Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi strongly preferred)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
