• Greet and assist customers promptly: acknowledge customers immediately and provide assistance while handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: share product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, and offer recommendations; engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions: inform customers about current events and promotions to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: address issues and offer solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges where possible.
• Communicate needs to management: inform leadership about restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: collaborate to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld/mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions professionally and courteously
• Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training

• Frequently operate a cash register
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5-10 feet high
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve or stock merchandise
• Stand, kneel, bend, twist, and stoop as needed in stock and sales areas
• Communicate with customers and team members both in person and by phone; exchange accurate information
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and stock areas
• Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts or travel
• Identify and follow email and printed instructions for merchandising layouts, schedules, and procedures
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for extended periods as required
