- Quality Control & Inspections
- Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Verify that housekeeping staff follow proper cleaning procedures and meet sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in training and coaching housekeeping staff to maintain quality standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to room attendants and address deficiencies.
- Guest Satisfaction & Service
- Respond to guest requests and complaints related to room cleanliness or housekeeping services.
- Ensure VIP and special‑request rooms are properly prepared.
- Assist with room inspections before guest check‑ins to uphold a high level of service.
- Inventory & Supplies Management
- Monitor the use of linens, cleaning products, and guest amenities to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors to ensure proper stocking and distribution of supplies.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, health, and safety regulations.
- Report maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to the engineering department.
- Make sure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Administrative Duties
- Complete inspection reports and log housekeeping issues.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and assigning cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance team to ensure smooth room turnover.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
- Preferred:
Prior experience in food service or related hospitality role. - Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional time‑management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage guests and collaborate seamlessly with team members.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
