Description
Performs responsible semi-skilled work operating automotive or mechanical equipment in the performance of a variety of public service work by the repair of all streets, water, sewer and gas lines; and the maintenance of landscape areas around the city. Operating trucks and smaller construction equipment and participates in the work, such as sawing, cutting, and digging; patching roads; locating and replacing water, sewer, and gas lines;
and replacing failed storm drains. Removes leaf and snow, pours concrete and assists other crews with equipment maintenance.
