Full-Time Registered Nurse (Healthcare) – A Womans Choice

The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Danville team. In this role, you will work closely with our medical team to provide evaluation, treatment, and emotional support to patients throughout their visits. You will be a vital link between the patient and the physician, ensuring that care is delivered safely, accurately, and with deep respect for patient autonomy.
Responsibilities- Patient Care:
Monitor patients, review health histories, and provide education and emotional support during procedures. - Medical Support:
Assist physicians with medical procedures and administer routine or emergency medications per protocols. - Documentation:
Maintain precise, legible, and objective records of patient information and verbal communications. - Safety & Compliance:
Enforce clinic standards and legal regulations to maintain a secure and healthy environment. - After-Hours Support:
Participate in a rotating after-hours phone schedule (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).
- Licensure:
Must hold a valid Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license OR a multi-state Compact nursing license (NLC). - Advocacy:
Must firmly support access to abortion and align with our core values. - Skills:
Exceptional communication and organizational skills; ability to remain calm and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Attributes:
Detail-oriented, flexible, and a true team player who enjoys a collaborative setting.
- Prior experience in reproductive health or assisting with abortion care (medical and surgical).
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Status:
Full-Time, Hourly. - Hours:
8:00 A.M. until the last patient departs. - Work Week:
Monday through Saturday (Saturdays are mandatory). You will receive Sundays and one weekday off.
