• Oversee the daily operations of the 31‑bed Emergency Room, ensuring efficient patient care and staff coordination.
• Assist in managing budgets, implementing policies, maintaining quality standards, and addressing emergent situations.
• Supervise clinical staff, optimize workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagement.
• Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determine and justify needs for systems/equipment/supplies, monitor usage, and oversee proper operation and stock levels.
• Assess the quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments; may provide patient care when necessary.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Create an environment that encourages professional growth and integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

• Current VA RN license or compact state license; graduate of a professional nursing program.
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred; PALS/ENPC required if noted in role requirements; TNCC preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN clinical experience in an emergency department; minimum 2 years of supervisory/management or charge nurse experience.
• Experience in acute care hospital preferred.

  Days
• Interim Clinical Manager role: 40 hrs per week with a flexible schedule/work‑life balance.
• Sign‑on bonus: $20,000
