Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery – Night Shift

Sign‑on Bonus: $20,000 sign‑on bonus eligibility

Schedule: 7P‑7A
3 12‑hour shifts

Job Location Type: In Person

Our postpartum/nursery unit has 11 rooms with a 1:6 (3 couplets) patient ratio. Our nurses care for postpartum moms, newborns, post‑op GYN patients, and occasional antepartum patients (e.g., hyperemesis or pyelonephritis). They attend deliveries, provide 1:1 care for infants requiring additional support, and prepare infants for transfer when a higher level of care is required.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

• Current VA RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support
• Experience in acute care hospital (preferred)
• American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
