• Manages the day-to-day nursing operations, shift management, and scheduling of the Residential and Day programs.
• Staff training and staff supervision, including selection, performance evaluations, and discipline of the nursing staff.
• Scheduling and ordering supplies; maintaining records; ensuring medication security.
• Distributing and administering medications to individuals; recommending medical plan of care; providing training to staff.
• Attending interdisciplinary team meetings; responding to on-call incidents as needed.
• Initiating referrals for services as instructed by physicians; monitoring individuals for medication effects and side effects.
• Providing medication education to individuals and their families; interfacing with community medical professionals.

• Minimum Requirements
• Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
• Three years of experience working as an RN or LPN
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request
• Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace

Annual salary range: $58,995 - $103,241

Sign-on bonus: $5,000
