Location: Danville, VA (Local Community College)
Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour
Are you a night owl looking for a stable role where you can work independently and take pride in keeping a campus environment sparkling? We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our custodial team at the local community college.
The ScheduleThis is a unique full-time schedule that allows for a consistent routine:
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Friday & Saturday: OFF
What You’ll DoAs a General Cleaner, you are the backbone of campus health and safety. Your daily tasks will include:
Sanitizing classrooms, offices, and common areas.
Floor maintenance (sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming).
Restocking supplies and cleaning restrooms.
Trash removal and recycling.
Ensuring the facility is secure and ready for students each morning.
What We’re Looking ForExperience: Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, but we are happy to train anyone with a great work ethic.
Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance.
Attitude: A positive, "can-do" attitude is a must! You should be comfortable working solo but also able to communicate effectively with the rest of the team.
Requirements: All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
