Responsibilities
  • Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant - Site Reliability Engineering/Dev Ops Lead.
  • Drive Enterprise Initiative projects for the client across multiple departments and ensure timely execution.
  • Manage project activities including project management, process diagnostics, issue escalation, transition/handover planning, and driving process improvement using ITIL, LEAN, Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Lead the provision of cloud technology-based products and services to regional and global clients; manage cloud implementation programs of different technology products.
  • Develop and execute domestic strategy and expertise across various cloud tools, IT project implementations, technology management, and client support.
  • Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement IT automation and Dev Ops solutions (CI, CD, and Continuous Testing) using Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Set up CI/CD systems (e.g., Microsoft Azure Pipelines) and continuously improve existing Dev Ops frameworks.
  • Enable security testing/assessment as part of Dev Sec Ops  and retrofit client applications to industry standards and best practices.
  • Define branching and merging strategies and implement a centralized branching model.
  • Produce and discuss metrics with client SMEs; measure Dev Ops metrics for Build, Code Quality, Test, and Deployments and publish weekly reports.
  • Research and develop a unified, configurable Dev Ops dashboard for end-to-end application delivery.
  • Bridge gaps across engineering teams for continuous improvement in build and release pipelines and processes.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports for technical projects related to RPA and data support systems.
  • Validate digital tools and systems implementation; collaborate with operations and transition teams to drive successful implementations.
  • Adhere to Incident, Change, and Problem management processes; automate high-cost operational tasks.
  • Monitor crucial financial systems to ensure uptime and act as front-line responder to incidents; improve reliability through data analysis and monitoring improvements.
  • Identify issues from monitoring and user feedback and collaborate with software engineering to resolve problems and improve tools and processes.
Qualifications

Education – Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field) with 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s experience in the job or related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in Danville, IL with national project site placements and approximately 3% travel. Salary range: $94,723 to $99,459 per year.
