The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research is looking for a Banquet Cook who is passionate about quality food, organized preparation, and creating exceptional guest experiences—from elegant banquets to high-profile events.

Compensation and Benefits$15.00 - $17.00 per hr. Full-Time Team Members receive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life, 401(k), STD, LTD, paid holiday, vacation, personal & sick time, lean management training, and numerous other employee discount benefits through our HR provider LL Roberts and Benefit Bay.
What You'll Be Doing- Preparing food according to production needs and quality standards
- Prepping ingredients in advance without overproduction
- Dating, labeling, rotating, and storing food according to food safety standards
- Monitoring pars, completing freezer pulls, and setting up the line for service
- Receiving, unpacking, and properly storing vendor deliveries
- Controlling food waste and assisting with food cost management
- Returning unused food items to proper storage, covered and dated
- Assisting with monthly food audits and maintaining inventory levels
- Preparing and making ice cream for the Sweet Rose Ice Cream Shop
- Learning and working within the PMS system for scheduled shifts
- Maintaining cleanliness, breaking down boxes, and removing trash as needed
- Supporting the Kitchen Manager and completing other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant or kitchen experience
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Reliable transportation required
- High school diploma or GED required
