Overview

Position Summary:

A Staff Pharmacist at Walmart is at the forefront of patient communications, listening and developing relationships with those that seek our quality, heartfelt care. You will be empowered to share your clinical knowledge and work to the top of your license. You will be a community leader and a leader among the pharmacy staff in a fast-paced environment equipped with the resources and technology you need to succeed.

• Advocate for patient-centered care and adapt to a patient base from diverse backgrounds and medical concerns.
• Provide accurate and consistent patient care, including counseling, processing prescriptions, and administering immunizations.
• Engage in community involvement and outreach, including Wellness Days.
• Understand the business, including inventory control, cost savings for patients, and compliance.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff on customer service approaches and issue resolution.
• Use tools, data, and conversations to understand community needs and stay up to date on health issues.
• Ensure compliant administration of policies and procedures and maintain safety, quality, and ethics standards.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D, or equivalent FPGE (NABP);
  Pharmacy license by job entry date;
  Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
