• Operate heavy machinery, including snow plowing during winter and various construction projects.
• Perform minor repairs and conduct routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain detailed records by completing daily logs and reports tracking equipment usage and maintenance history.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure road safety and improve the quality of life for residents.

• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or Graduation from a Commercial Driver’s License Training School, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License with the Air Brake Restriction (L) removed.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with FMCS regulations.
• Active certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for operation of heavy trucks and loaders, and two additional pieces of construction equipment.
• Required operation of vehicles or equipment with a manual transmission.
• Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Federal Regulations.

• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
