HVAC Technician Who You Are
The Episcopal Academy seeks a dependable, team-oriented HVAC professional who values quality work, safety, and service and who takes pride in contributing to a mission-driven school community.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance, the HVAC technician will maintain, diagnose, and repair campus HVAC and related building systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systemsDiagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issuesMonitoring and adjusting automated building systems across campusPerforming preventative maintenance (changing filters, lubricating motors, cleaning coils, inspecting heaters, belts, fans, dampers, drains, and overall unit condition)Identifying and addressing maintenance risks proactivelyMaintaining accurate service records, including parts and repairsEnsuring compliance with HVAC codes and safety standardsSupporting campus needs, including special events and snow removalAssisting with general maintenance tasks as needed (lighting, painting, event setup/breakdown, etc.)About You
The ideal candidate for the HVAC Technician at The Episcopal Academy will possess the following:
A high school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of HVAC experience in a commercial setting (or equivalent combination of training and experience)Working knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and basic building automation systemsStrong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration diagnostic skillsA clean driving record and ability to meet federal and state driving standardsThe ability to kneel, climb, lift, and work in varying weather conditionsAbout Us
