- Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Medical l-time Inpatient RN with mentoring and growth opportunities. Eligible candidates may receive up to a $24,000 hiring incentive, with a minimum starting rate of $41 per hour and up to $7 per hour in shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. - Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patient needs. Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve highest level of care, safety, and satisfaction. Coordinates patient care and staff interactions. Provides care in accordance with unit standards and discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team.
- Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
- Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
- Develops, coordinates, and provides plan of care including patient and family education, family needs, and discharge planning.
- Delivers direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policy and procedure.
- Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises care plans based on patient response.
- Collaborates with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoots equipment and ensures proper handling.
- Participates in unit-based decision-making regarding evidence-based practice.
- Works as a team member to meet unit and organizational goals and participates in quality and safety education programs.
Unit:
Advanced Acute Care Medical (BP2), 20-bed unit with private rooms and modern technology. Full-time schedule: 36 hours per week, day shift (7a-7p), every other weekend and every other holiday. Self-scheduling is offered.

- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) – RN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
