Job Summary

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our skilled and collaborative team of critical care providers, practicing state-of-the‑at‑hand medicine with support from excellent physicians and nursing staff.

• Work in a collegial team of extremely kind and welcoming providers
• Choose your shifts
• 12‑hour shifts from 7 pm‑7 am
• Serve in a collaborative role with the physician and staff in assessing needs, planning and providing education and care, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating follow‑up and referrals for patients

• Outstanding outdoor activities including hiking, biking, fishing with numerous state parks within a short driving distance

Education

• Master's Degree – Nurse Practitioner (Required)
• Master's Degree – Physician Assistant (Required)

• Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) –  of Pennsylvania
• Certified Nurse Practitioner – American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
