Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Critical Care - GMC, Danville

Job Summary

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our skilled and collaborative team of critical care providers, practicing state‑of‑the‑art medicine with support from excellent physicians and nursing staff.

• Work in a collegial team of extremely kind and welcoming providers
• Work 14 night shifts/month
• 12‑hour shifts from 7pm‑7am; bi‑weekly nocturnal stipend
• Serve in a collaborative role with the physician and staff in assessing needs, planning and providing education and care, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating follow‑up and referrals for patients
• Moonlighting available for extra income

Education

• Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner (Required)
• Master's Degree - Physician Assistant (Required)

Experience

• Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
