Maintenance Tech

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker with a construction background to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of hands‑on construction and facility maintenance tasks to help keep our buildings safe, structurally sound, and fully operational. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, solid technical knowledge and takes pride in keeping buildings running smoothly.

Physical stamina, manual dexterity, and reliability are a must.
This is a swing shift and will require both days and evening shifts.

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks and fixing light fixtures.
• Scheduled on‑call responsibilities.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and building systems, check control panels and electrical wiring for issues, and conduct routine maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and function.
• Perform outdoor maintenance (mowing, trash collection, basic landscaping).
• Check functionality of safety systems such as fire alarms and report larger issues to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.

• Experience using hand and power tools and ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a maintenance‑related apprenticeship preferred.
• Construction experience desired.
