Summary of PositionResponsible for assisting guests in a friendly and efficient manner in Company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities- Manage the incoming valet vehicles. This will include radio communication with security to hold cars in the waiting area or releasing cars from the waiting area to the valet lane.
- Greeting guests with a warm and friendly personality. Offering to help with wheelchairs or walkers.
- Explaining the valet procedure including cost of valet services, directions inside the hospital and how to retrieve their vehicle when leaving.
- Entering all vehicle information into the Flash Valet system. This includes taking pictures of vehicle damage.
- Understand Company’s management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
- Actively participate in creating a positive work environment, promoting team work.
- Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned.
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts, outside in rain, snow, and heat.
- Be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to meet and/or exceed customer expectations
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people and will involve frequent bending, twisting, squatting and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Six months customer service experience
