Lead Electrical Technician

JOB DUTIES:

• WIRING
• BUILDING
• TROUBLESHOOTING
• PROGRAMMING
• ASSEMBLING

REQUIREMENTS:

• PLC EXPERIENCE DESIRED
• BASIC ELECTRONICS KNOWLEDGE
• ABILITY TO READ ELECTICAL SCHEMING
• ABILITY TO INTERPRET DRAWINGS TO THEN BUILD A MACHINE

Responsible for setting up, checking, and correcting operational and experimental electrical machinery, circuitry, and equipment while adhering to pre-established guidelines and engineering specifications. Requires a high school degree or its equivalent with at least 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks. Works under limited supervision. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
