Job Title:
Yard Dog Operator
Purpose:
To move chiller units around various locations on company property
- Moving 53-foot trailers around the yard
- Moving 53-foot trailer around the yard to put units on as they come in
- Moving units in and out of paint production
- Moving units in and out of assembly production
- Moving units on and off of testing stations
- Moving units around the yard
- Knowledge of safe work practices and willingness to comply with safety policies and procedures
- 2-3 years previous experience yard dog or truck driving a must
- Ability to back up 53-foot trailers and maneuver them in tight spaces
- Attention to detail
- HS diploma and/or GED
- 8-hour workdays (7am-4pm) with one hour lunch break
- Mandatory weekend work may be required
- Exposure to weather conditions, heat/cold
