Criminal Justice Instructor - Full-TimeThe faculty member will provide instruction in the area of Criminal Justice.
Required qualifications: At least five years of experience as a police officer or in a criminal justice related field. Earned master's degree in criminal justice, justice administration, criminology, law enforcement, homeland security, or a closely related field. Ability to work with local and regional law enforcement agencies to promote internships and employment. A genuine interest in student development and mentoring. Please note, a juris doctorate without extensive and recent law enforcement experience is not an appropriate degree for this position.
BarberingInstructor - Full-Time
The instructor (faculty member) will provide instruction in Barbering. The instructor is also responsible for teaching courses and labs in the Barbering program.
Required qualifications: Licensed as a Barber in the State of Illinois. Licensed Barber Teacher. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Barber. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of constituents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated technological/computer skills.
Transition Services Coordinator (TSC) - Full-TimeThe Transition Services Coordinator (TSC) is responsible for providing transition and follow-up service graduates of the DACC Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program.
Required qualifications: Associate's Degree or 3 years of experience in the pre-apprenticeship or construction field. Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to think proactively and take initiative.
