Per diem Anesthesiologist opening with collaborative team in Danville, IL, with opportunity to increase earning through call shifts. This role is with North American Partners in Anesthesia at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center.

The 174-bed OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center provides comprehensive healthcare for the community of Danville, IL, along with the nearby region. The OSF Sacred Heart facility is part of the OSF Health Care system. This integrated healthcare network is operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis based in Peoria, IL.

Flexible per diem schedules and the opportunity to increase earning through call shifts.

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
