Facilities Technician
Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is looking for a Facilities Technician to support daily operations and ensure that our facilities remain safe, clean, and functional. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, repairs, and preventive work across our hospitals and treatment centers.
Position OverviewAre you skilled in maintenance and repair and take pride in keeping environments safe, functional, and welcoming? As a Facilities Technician at RCA, you play a critical role in supporting daily operations by ensuring our facilities are well‑maintained, safe, and compliant. Your work directly contributes to a clean, functional environment where patients and staff can focus on healing and care.
Compensation & ScheduleSalary: $21 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, machinery, and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Repair or replace electrical switches, outlets, circuit breakers, flooring, and fixtures
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Assemble, install, and set up equipment and machinery as needed
- Review blueprints, diagrams, or schematics to plan and execute repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of buildings and surrounding property
- Order tools, parts, and supplies from approved vendors and storerooms
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to assess maintenance needs, timelines, and costs
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of completed work and inspections
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Previous facilities, maintenance, or building repair experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, team‑oriented attitude
- Manual dexterity and comfort using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Required licenses or certifications based on state and local regulations

A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since treatment completion.
